Good architecture is a delight for everyone. Joining the community of architects in Portland, my studio actively supports and participates in many organizations committed to design excellence, including AIA Maine and Architalx, Maine College of Art, and the Portland Museum of Art.

Here are the links to their websites along with some of our favorites.

Proud of my students at Bowdoin College, I include the website they created to document their studies at Bowdoin Coastal Studies Center in Harpswell, Maine. They are becoming stewards of the landscape. “Stewardship means simply the care of something that doesn’t belong to you.” Wendell Barry continues, “What will nature be doing here if left alone. What will nature permit me to do here without damage to herself or to me? What will nature help me to do here.”
